This wine is full-bodied with a bouquet of wild berries and blackcurrant notes. The colour is deep ruby red, and the flavour is powerful yet balanced on the palate.
Salice Salentino is produced from Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera in Paolo Leo’s 4-acre vineyard in Puglia’s Salento region. The 25 to 35-year-old vines are trained using the traditional Albarello Pugliese method, which ensures this wine has low yields and great concentration.
